Here is today's look around the Braves' minor league schedule.

After a 14-inning loss Thursday night, Richmond will try to get back on track tonight in Norfolk as Damian Moss will get the start. The Braves rotation has been outstanding so far this season, with a 2.62 ERA. The Braves are 11-7 on the year, two games ahead of Charlotte in the International League's South Division.

Game one of a five-game is set for tonight in Mobile for the Braves, who are 4-16 on the season. Dan Smith will take the hill for Mississippi against Brooks Brown, a former UGA star who was also drafted by the Braves out of high school.

It'll be a battle for first place tonight at BB&T Coastal Field as the Pelicans host the Salem Avalanche. Myrtle Beach (11-9) is tied for first place with Winston-Salem (9-7), while the Avalanche is a half-game back at 10-9 on the season. Tommy Hanson will get the call tonight for the Pelicans. He is 2-0 and has yet to allow an earned run this season. Hanson leads the Carolina League in ERA, strikeouts, and WHIP. The Pelicans have placed Gorkys Hernandez on the disabled list with a hamstring problem. Concepcion Rodriguez has been promoted from the Rome Braves to fill the roster spot.

The Braves move on to Savannah tonight to start a four-game series at Grayson Stadium. Jose Ortegano will go for the Braves in game one. Rome is 8-12 on the season, nine games out of first place in the Sally League's Southern Division, two games on top of the Sand Gnats.
