Minor League Preview - May 15

Here's a look at Thursday's schedule around the Braves' farm system.


Richmond has a morning game with Indianapolis today, starting at 11:00 am ET. Damian Moss (1-3, 4.67) goes for the Braves. He has a 5.12 ERA in his first starts. Ty Taubenheim will pitch for the Indians. The Braves have won two in a row and are now 22-17 on the season, four games up on Durham in the International League's South Division.


After a crushing loss at home to Montgomery Wednesday, the Braves move on to Chattanooga to start a five-game series. Dan Smith (0-5, 5.73) will go for the Braves against right-hander Sam LeCure. Mississippi is 14-26 on the season.


The Pelicans finish out the series with Potomac tonight at 7:05. Gonzalo Lopez (2-2, 5.35) will go for Myrtle Beach against right-hander Craig Stammen (0-1, 1.67). The Pelicans are 25-14 on the season, 6.5 games up on Winston-Salem in the Carolina League Southern Division.


Rome will try to snap a three-game losing streak tonight at State Mutual Stadium when they finish the series against Augusta. Chad Rodgers (1-6, 4.13) will get the start for the Braves, who are 13-26 on the season, 13.5 games out of first place in the South Atlantic League's Southern Division.
