Who's hot & Who's not!

Bill Shanks breaks down the hot and cold players on the Braves roster.

WHO IS HOT

Don't look now but Melky Cabrera is doing much better. In the last ten games, Cabrera is hitting .421 (8-19) with a solo home rune.

Brian McCann has six hits in his last 19 at bats, including a home run and four RBI. McCann is hitting .290 in May, much better than his .234 average in April.

Jason Heyward has snapped out of yet another slump. He's 6-15 on the road trip with 5 RBI. Heyward had hit .212 (7-33) in his previous eight games.

Billy Wagner pitched a scoreless inning Wednesday to finish the game. He's allowed only two runs in nine appearances this month. Wagner's season ERA is 2.12.

WHO IS NOT

Chipper Jones continues to struggle, with only three hits in his last five games. He's hitting .188 in his last ten games. Jones' average is now down to .219.

Troy Glaus was 1-3 Wednesday night with two RBIs, but he's hitting only .063 on the road trip.

Nate McLouth just can't get over the hump. He is 1-17 on the road trip and his season average is stuck at .190.

Takashi Saito has given up four earned runs in his last five games, despite eight strikeouts in 4.1 innings.
