Jimmy Nelson was named to the All-PCL team for his dominating three month stretch. Nelson who has been solid but unspectacular in his limited time in the majors said he would not be opposed to moving to the bullpen when the Brewers rotation returns to full strength.
Sounds current first baseman Matt Clark was a no-brainer Batter of the Week for the Pacific Coast League. He hit 15-for-28 with three home runs for the week. Clark also has a 14-game hit streak going on currently.

The Wei-Chung Wang rehab tour rolled on to High-A Brevard County. Wang had the longest start of his young career working 6.1 innings allowing just three hits and one earned run on Saturday night for Low-A Wisconsin.
Anthony Banda the starting pitcher the Brewers traded for Gerardo Parra is off to a great start for the Diamondbacks Low-A affiliate in South Bend. In five starts, Banda has a 1.50 ERA and a 30:5 K:BB ratio.
