Selected in the second round (82nd overall) of the June, 2007 First-Year Player Draft. Received a $400,000 signing bonus. Moved to Cleveland in the Mark DeRosa trade in July 2009. Reacquired by the Cardinals off waivers from the New York Yankees on May 16, 2011. Released in October 2012.
Settled into a middle relief role for Triple-A Memphis, posting a 4.91 ERA in 44 innings over 41 games.
Todd saved 24 games for Memphis and made a one-game MLB debut before being dealt to Cleveland as a player to be named later in the Mark DeRosa trade in July 2009.
Todd made three stops in the system, including Palm Beach, Springfield and Memphis, posting a combined 8-6 record with a 2.88 ERA.
