im guessing enough of us play fantasy baseball that a thread for advice here could be useful...ill start it off..
ive been in a keeper league since 1998, we get to keep 6 players from a 24 person roster and you skip the round for your keeper the next year depending on where he was drafted initially. (example arod is drafted in the 1st round in year one, he then represents your first round pick for the next year)
stats are a classic 5x5, plus ops and triples on the hitting side, and plus losses and complete games on the pitching side so a 7x7
i was offered jose reyes(2nd round pick) for my ian kinsler (11th round pick). Im considering this because:
a)ss is incredibly thin position
b) i also have pedroia(6th round pick)
the only thing that irks me is that kinsler is such a great value at an 11th round pick, and reyes isnt the player he once was and is probably overvalued from his greatness in the past as a 2nd round pick.
Im thinking about pulling the trigger, any opinions?
If anyone else has a question feel free to put it up here i love putting in my two cents
