Arizona Fall League

 

Tony Cruz (Springfield-Surprise) started at catcher and batted fifth.  2-for-5 with one two-out RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Adron Chambers (Memphis-Surprise) started in left field and batted ninth.  0-for-2 with one RBI, one run, one walk, and one sac fly.

Blake King (Springfield-Surprise) entered in the third and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hit, no runs, threw one wild pitch, and struck two out for the hold (1).  (p-s:24-13)(g/f:1-1)(ir-s:2-0)

 

Surprise beat Peoria Saguaros 11-4

Kevin Moscatel (GCL-Caribes) started at catcher and batted seventh.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Roberto Espinoza (Palm Beach-Caribes) entered late in the game at catcher and batted seventh.  0-for-1 with two walks and one strikeout.

Ted Obregon (Quad Cities-Caribes) started at third base and moved to right field, batting eighth.  0-for-1 with two walks and one sacrifice.

Jose Calero (Former GCL-Caribes) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning. He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (g/f:1-1)

 

Jose Martinez (Springfield-Aragua) started at second base and batted second.  0-for-4 at the plate.

Domnit Bolivar (Palm Beach-Aragua) started in left field and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, and one run.

Kleininger Teran (Johnson City-Aragua) started at first base and batted sixth.  0-for-2 at the plate.

Frederick Parejo (Quad Cities-Aragua) started in centerfield and batted seventh. 1-for-2 with one walk and one strikeout.

Hector Garcia (GCL-Aragua) started at third base and moved to first, batting eighth.  0-for-3 and one error.

Moises Colorado (Former GCL-Aragua) entered in the seventh and pitched 1.2 innings.  He allowed two hits, three earned runs, four walks, and struck one out. (g/f:3-0)

Johnny Celis (Former MiLB Tryout-La Guaira) started in left field and batted third. 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

 

La Guaira beat Tiburones 7-2

 

Eduardo Lopez (Former MiLB Tryout-Zulia) started in left field and batted second. 0-for-4 with one RBI and one strikeout.

Romulo Ruiz (Johnson City-Zulia) started at third base and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one double, one hit by pitch, and one stolen base.

Dominican League

 

Bartolo Colon told ESPN Deportes that the Yankees, Rockies, Cardinals, and Tigers talked to him while he was in Puerto Rico representing the Dominican Republic in the 2011 World Cup Qualifier: ESPN Deportes  Colon is expected to pitch for Aguilas this winter.

Nerio Rodriguez (Former St. Louis-Escogido) was named opening day starter for Escogido.  The organization released Abraham Nunez (Former St. Louis) and announced Fernando Tatis (Former St. Louis) was in camp.  Tatis ended the 2010 season on the Mets disabled list with an injury.  Escogido Official Site
