Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 11/09/10

Jose Martinez homers and drives in three as the Player of the Day. Domnit Bolivar doubles twice and drives in one, Jose Garcia hits a solo homer and Romulo Ruiz homers and knocks in two in Venezuelan Parallel League play. Blake King sets up the save in the AFL. Oneli Perez pitches 1 1/3 scoreless for the win in the LBPD. Current stats from the LMP, LVBP, LCBP, and LNBP included.

Arizona Fall League

 

Adron Chambers (Memphis-Surprise) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-4 with one run, one walk, two stolen bases, and two strikeouts.

Tony Cruz (Memphis-Surprise) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  2-for-4 at the plate.

Pete Kozma (Springfield-Surprise) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one run, one strikeout, one throwing error, one fielding error, and assisted in one double play.

Ramon Delgado (Springfield-Surprise) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit and one earned run for the blown save (1). (p-s:7-5)(g/f:2-1)
