Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 11/16/10

Frederick Parejo collects three hits, two doubles, and drives in three for the Player of the Day honors. Kleininger Teran picks up four hits, a double, and two RBIs; Romulo Ruiz homers and drives in two runs; Jose Martinez knocks in a run; and Ted Obregon connects for three hits all in the Venezuelan Parallel League. Oneli Perez becomes Licey's all-time saves leader.

Arizona Fall League

 

Adron Chambers (Memphis-Surprise) started in left field and batted leadoff.  2-for-3 with one double, one run, one hit by pitch, one stolen base, and one strikeout.

Zack Cox (GCL-Surprise) started at third base and batted third. 1-for-2 with one double, two walks, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Pete Kozma (Springfield-Surprise) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.

Ramon Delgado (Springfield-Surprise) entered in the sixth and pitched one inning. He allowed one hit, no runs, one walk, and assisted in one double play for the hold (3). (p-s:14-7)(g/f:3-0)

Blake King (Springfield-Surprise) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning. He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the hold (4). (p-s:13-8)(g/f:0-1)
