Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 11/22/10

Ildemaro Vargas collects four hits, a double, and drives in two for Player of the Day honors. Romulo Ruiz gets two hits and knocks in two runs, while Roberto Espinoza drives in one in the Venezuelan Parallel League. Amaury Cazana connected for two hits and one RBI in the LMP. Royals' prospect Anthony Lerew throws a rare no-hitter in LVBP.

Mexican Pacific League

 

Emil Brown (Former Memphis-Hermosillo) started in right field and fifth.  1-for-4 with one double, one run, and one strikeout.

 

Amaury Cazana (Memphis-Culiuacan) started in right field and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one double, one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.
