Amaury Cazana connects for a single, double, and drives in one in the LMP for Player of the Day honors. Eduardo Sanchez pitches 1 1/3 scoreless innings in the LVBP. Updated stats from the Venezuelan Parallel League with Romulo Ruiz tops in SLG, runs scored, hits, RBIs, doubles, home runs and total bases; and Roberto Canache leads in game starts.

Mexican Pacific League

 

Amaury Cazana (Memphis-Culiacan) started in right field and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one run.

Notes:

Karim Garcia (Lotte Free Agent-KBO/Hermosillo) was the 30th player in LMP history to hit three home runs in a game and the first since 2008.  He was the fourth player since 1963 to drive in nine runs in one game.  He also had homered in four straight at-bats, one in the previous game.  Only two other batters have done that in LMP history.  Garica tied a record of hitting five home runs in three consecutive games.
