Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 12/21/10

Hector Hernandez fans seven over 3 1/3 innings in Puerto Rico for Player of the Day honors. Amaury Cazana ranks in the top ten in the LMP in hits, doubles, triples, RBIs and total bases but leads the league in strikeouts. Former Cardinal Brian Barton lands with the Reds and former MiLB 2B Edgar Gonzalez is garnering interest. Rich Rundles is placed on inactive list in LVBP.

Mexican Pacific League

Manuel De La Cruz (GCL-Mexicali) has made 15 appearances (one start) posting a 3-1 record, 7.31 ERA, and 1.91 WHIP.  He's allowed 36 hits, 26 runs (23 earned), four home runs, hit two batters, walked 18, and struck 20 out over 28.1 innings.
