Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 12/30/10

Jose Martinez takes advantage of extra playing time with a double and two RBI in the LVBP for Player of the Day honors. Jose Garcia singles in the LVBP and Antonio DeJesus reaches base twice in Puerto Rico. Evan MacLane nears deal to pitch in Japan.

Mexican Pacific League

 

Brian Barden (Former St. Louis-Mazatlan) started at second base and moved to third, batting leadoff.  1-for-3 with one double, one walk, and one strikeout.
