Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 01/14/11

Tyler Greene drives in one run for Player of the Day honors, Romulo Ruiz gets his first taste of the playoffs, former MiLB Javier Brito doubles and knocks in two runs, and ex-Cardinal Timo Perez collects one RBI all in the LVBP. Former MiLB Pablo Ozuna drives in one run and scores two and ex-Cardinal Esteban Yan strikes out two over 2 1/3 innings in the Dominican.

Romulo Ruiz (Johnson City-Zulia) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.
