Shane Robinson collects five hits and drives in three runs and Nick Stavinoha adds two, but Memphis comes up one run short. Niko Vazquez and Alex Castellanos each homer as Springfield is outscored. Shelby Miller strikes out nine over five innings as Palm Beach is shut out in opener. Quad Cities is rained out.
