Cardinals Minor League Notebook: 04/12/11

Adam Ottavino strikes out five over 5 1/3 innings, but Memphis offense is shut out to end three-game winning streak. Tommy Pham and Matt Adams each drive in two runs to help lead Springfield to win. Audry Perez hits a grand slam but Palm Beach comes up short in third consecutive loss. Cody Stanley and Greg Garcia each knock in two runs to help Quad Cities end two-game skid.

Individual Highlights:

Mark Hamilton 1-for-3 with one walk.

Bryan Anderson 2-for-4 with one stolen base and allowed one stolen base.

Adron Chambers 1-for-3 with one walk and one strikeout.

Adam Ottavino started and pitched 5.1 innings.  He allowed two hits, one unearned run, four walks, and struck five out for the losing decision (0-1).  0-for-2 with one strikeout at the plate.  (p-s:95-50)(g/f:6-4)

Rich Rundles entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit and no runs. (p-s:15-10)(g/f:0-2)
