Pete Kozma doubles in two runs, but former Cardinals prospect Shane Peterson does it again in Memphis loss. Springfield cancelled after Chris Swauger launches a three-run shot. Zack Cox homers and knocks in three runs but Palm Beach comes up short against three major leaguers. Kevin Siegrist tosses seven scoreless innings, Virgil Hill hits three-run homer as Quad Cities claims sweep.

Individual Highlights:

Jim Rapoport 1-for-3 with one walk and one strikeout.

Freddie Bynum 1-for-2 with one double.

Tony Cruz 1-for-4 with one double, one two-out RBI, one run, two strikeouts, and allowed one stolen base.

Pete Kozma 1-for-3 with one double, two two-out RBIs, and one strikeout.

Nick Additon entered in the seventh and pitched three innings.  He allowed two hits, no runs, and struck two out. (p-s:36-24)(g/f:4-2)
