Donovan Solano drives in three runs, Nick Stavinoha adds two as Memphis wins. Matt Adams homers but Springfield is doubled up in second straight loss. Kyle Conley homers, but Eric Fornataro is torched in Palm Beach's second consecutive loss. Ryan Copeland strikes out four over four hitless frames in Quad Cities loss.

Memphis beat Tacoma 8-2

 

Individual Highlights:

Nick Stavinoha 3-for-5 with two doubles, one home run, two RBIs, three runs, and two strikeouts.

Andrew Brown 2-for-5 with one two-out RBI and one strikeout.

Matt Carpenter 0-for-2 with one RBI, one run, one walk, one sac fly, and one strikeout.

Ramon Vazquez 2-for-3 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and one fielding error.

Tony Cruz 0-for-3 with one RBI, one sac fly, assisted in one double play, and threw two runners out.

Donovan Solano 2-for-4 with one home run, three two-out RBIs, one run, and assisted in one double play.
