Cardinals Minor League Notebook: 05/27/11

Memphis finished its road trip with 19 hits and a win as Mark Hamilton and Andrew Brown each hit two-run homers. Springfield won its fourth straight behind Kevin Thomas' pitching. Justin Smith pitched Palm Beach to victory. Carlos Martinez and Quad Cities fell just short at Busch Stadium.

The Redbirds rapped out 12 singles and seven extra-base hits in the road trip-closing win. Mark Hamilton and Andrew Brown led the offense as each had a two-run home run.
