Andrew Brown's two-run walk-off homer leads Memphis to win. Scott Schneider knocked out quickly as Springfield's winning streak ends. John Gast K's 11 in Palm Beach win. Quad Cities drops both doubleheader games. Fernando Baez hits three-run homer in DSL season-opening loss.

Memphis beat Omaha 6-5

 

Individual Highlights:

Andrew Brown 2-for-3 with one home run, two two-out RBIs, two runs, and two strikeouts.

Mark Hamilton 2-for-3 with two runs, one walk, and assisted in two double plays.

Nick Stavinoha 2-for-4 with one double, one run, and grounded into one double play.

Matt Carpenter 2-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, and one stolen base.

Bryan Anderson 1-for-4 with one RBI, one strikeout, and threw out one of three base runners.

Donovan Solano 2-for-4 with one double and assisted in two double plays.

Mitchell Boggs started and pitched four innings.  He allowed three hits, no runs, one walk, and struck four out. (p-s:51-31)(g/f:4-2)
