Cardinals Minor League Notebook: 06/05/11

Andrew Brown, Jose Garcia each drove in two runs as Memphis ended two-game losing streak. Ryan Jackson knocked in four runs to lead Springfield to third straight win. Jordan Swagerty tossed five scoreless frames in Palm Beach shutout win. Cody Stanley plated two runners as Quad Cities won. DSL extends losing streak to five games.

Memphis beat Oklahoma City 8-4

 

Individual Highlights:

Pete Kozma 2-for-6 with one home run, one RBI, two runs, three strikeouts, and assisted in one double play.

Andrew Brown 2-for-5 with one home run, two RBIs, two runs, one walk, and two strikeouts.

Nick Stavinoha 2-for-4 with one double, two runs, one walk, one fielding error, and assisted in one double play.

Aaron Luna 1-for-5 with one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Jose Garcia 2-for-4 with one double, two RBIs, one run, one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.
