Charles Cutler clubs two homers and drives in three runs but Springfield loses second straight. Xavier Scruggs hits two-out, two-run walk-off homer to lead Palm Beach to victory. Anthony Ferrara allows one run over five innings in Quad Cities win.

Former Marlins and Nationals right-handed pitcher Logan Kensing threw a side session for scouts, which included the Cardinals, and signed a deal with the Bridgeport Bluefish of the independent Atlantic League.
