Donovan Solano collects three doubles and drives in game winner as Memphis wins sixth straight. Scott Schneider allows one run over 5 1/3 as Springfield ends two-game losing streak. Edgar Lara hits and scores run in All-Star loss. Boone Whiting allows one run over seven as Quad Cities wins and clinches playoff spot.

Memphis beat Nashville 7-6 in 10 innings

 

Individual Highlights:

Jim Rapoport 1-for-4 with two walks.

Donovan Solano 3-for-6 with three doubles, one RBI, one run, grounded into one double play, and assisted in three double plays.

Daryl Jones 1-for-3 with one RBI, two runs, and two walks.

Aaron Luna 2-for-5 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, one stolen base, two strikeouts, and one throwing error.

Freddie Bynum 1-for-5 with one two-out RBI, one strikeout, and assisted in three double plays.

Bryan Anderson 2-for-5 with one double, two runs, and two strikeouts.

Jose Garcia 3-for-5 with one double, one caught stealing, and assisted in two double plays.

Mark Hamilton 1-for-1 at the plate.

Adron Chambers 1-for-1 with one run.

Adam Ottavino started and pitched six innings.  He allowed ten hits, four earned runs, one home run, two walks, threw two wild pitches, and struck seven out.  1-for-2 with one two-out RBI and one strikeout at the plate.  He was ejected in the sixth.  (p-s:96-57)(g/f:7-2)

Victor Marte entered in the tenth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and one walk for the winning decision (2-3).  (p-s:14-6)(g/f:2-1)

 

Rough Outing:

Raul Valdes entered in the seventh and pitched two innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, and one home run. (p-s:23-12)(g/f:0-3)

Chuckie Fick entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, one earned run, two walks, and assisted in one double play. (one intentional). (p-s:25-12)(g/f:2-0)
