Memphis beat Nashville 5-4

 

Individual Highlights:

Adron Chambers 2-for-4 with one double, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Shane Robinson 3-for-5 with one double and one run.

Tyler Greene 1-for-4 with one walk, one stolen base, two strikeouts, and assisted in one double play.

Mark Hamilton 0-for-4 with one RBI, one sac fly, one strikeout, one throwing error, and assisted in one double play.

Matt Carpenter 1-for-4 with 1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.

Andrew Brown 3-for-4 with two home runs, two RBIs, two runs, and one fielding error.

Former Cardinals:

Randy Flores entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck two out. (p-s:16-13)(g/f:1-0)

Felipe Lopez was outrighted off the Brewers 40-man roster to Nashville on Wednesday.

 

Notes:

Raul Valdes was officially assigned to Triple-A Trenton (Yankees) on Wednesday.


Scott Kazmir, who was released by the Angels during the season, plans to pitch in winter ball to help rebuild his career.  Cardinals have reportedly shown a small amount of interest in him.
