Chuckie Fick threw two scoreless innings for Team USA while Tyler Lyons and David Kopp stumbled in Arizona.

Curt Smith (former Springfield-Netherlands) started at first base and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Tony Granadillo (former New Jersey-Venezuela) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-3 with one walk, two strikeouts, and one caught stealing.

Yonathan Sivira (former Quad Cities-Venezuela) started in centerfield and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one walk.
