Jermaine Curtis doubled and scored in Mexico, two Cards pitched in Arizona and Team USA rained out.

Curt Smith (former Springfield-Netherlands) started at first base and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one double, two RBIs, one walk, and one sac fly.

 

Canada beat Netherlands 5-4

 

Tony Granadillo (former New Jersey-Venezuela) started at third base and batted seventh.  1-for-2 at the plate.

Yonathan Sivira (former Quad Cities-Venezuela) started in centerfield and batted ninth.  2-for-2 at the plate.

 

Australia beat Venezuela 15-0 in 5 innings

 

Edgard Montiel (former DSL-Nicaragua) started at third base and batted seventh.  0-for-2 with one ground into double play.

 

Juan Richardson (former Springfield-Dominican Republic) started at third base and batted fourth.  2-for-3 with two RBIs, three runs, one walk, and one strikeout.
