Cardinals Winter Leagues Notebook: 10/27/11

Jose Garcia collects three hits and knocks in three runs and Romulo Ruiz triples and drives in one in Parallel league play. Rainel Rosario hit a solo home run and Chris Swauger drives in two runs in Panama. Victor Marte earns his second save in the Dominican.

Arizona Fall League

 

Matt Adams (Springfield-Peoria) started at first base and batted fourth.  0-for-4 with one RBI, one sac fly, two strikeouts, and assisted in one double play.

Keith Butler (Palm Beach-Peoria) entered in the fourth and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hit no runs, and struck one out for the hold (2). (p-s:13-9)(g/f:1-0)(ir-s:2-0)

David Kopp (Memphis-Peoria) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out. (p-s:13-10)(g/f:1-0)
