The St. Louis Cardinals minor league hitting coordinator points out improving hitters at the upper levels in 2014 and the challenges they face as they try to stick in the major leagues.

In the second part of this in-depth series of over 30 minutes duration, St. Louis Cardinals minor league hitting coordinator Derrick May discusses a number of Double-A and Triple-A players who improved at the plate during the 2014 season.

May also talks about the unique challenges of working with young hitters who are returned to the minors after reaching St. Louis. The specific cases of the adjustments made by Randal Grichuk and Kolten Wong are reviewed.
