Gary LaRocque is opening his 40th season in organized baseball. Having been a player, coach, manager, scout, scouting director and now farm director, the St. Louis Cardinals director of player development has seen it all.
The 62-year-old is energized for another season in 2015, excited as always about helping to meld the next generation of players to fortify the Major League roster.
In the following exclusive interview, LaRocque outlines the schedule for spring camps, discusses key coaching changes across the system for 2015, touches on new rules and much more.
