The Oregon native is in his third season as the Spikes' Athletic Trainer, and his fourth season in the Cardinals organization. Martin has now run the training room for playoff teams in three consecutive seasons, including helping keep the Spikes healthy as they won the 2014 NYPL championship.

Update: Medina is Out of the Box

On Tuesday, the Gulf Coast League Cardinals played their 50th game of the season. On Wednesday, right-handed pitcher Yeison Medina was activated from the restricted list, having completed his 50-game PED suspension. The 22-year-old Dominican Republic native was one of the better relievers on the 2014 GCL Cards, with a 1.64 ERA and 31 strikeouts to eight walks in 33 innings and was our top reliever on the 2013 DSL Cardinals.
