Results from Arizona Fall League game played Tuesday, October 27th.

Surprise 3 vs Peoria 1

Patrick Wisdom drove in the tying run in the Saguaros’ come-from-behind victory over the Javelinas (4-6). The win maintains Surprise’s (9-4) one game lead over Glendale in the West Division.

Wisdom lined a single to center with two out in the seventh, driving in Lewis Brinson (TX) to knot the game at one all. It was the third baseman’s only hit in three at bats. His hard line out to left was the second out in the second, coming with a runner on. He followed that with a fly out to right to begin the fifth.

Catcher Michael Ohlman, who hit just behind Wisdom in the seven hole, went 1-for-3 as well. Ohlman was caught looking at strike three with a runner on second to end the second and lined out to right in the fifth. He finished the day with a single to left, advancing Wisdom to second, in the seventh.

Aledmys Diaz went hitless in three at bats, batting ninth, on a ground out and two fly outs. The shortstop has only one hit in his last eight at bats covering three games.

Southpaw Tyler Webb (NYY) picked up his first win with a one-two-three eighth while Seattle’s Paul Fry, another lefty, was charged with both his first blown save and second loss in three decisions.

Robby Rowland pitched a scoreless ninth for his second save. The righty worked around a one out single deep in the hole at short, inducing a 4-3 ground out, a fly out to center and a strikeout on a foul tip.

Wednesday’s game: vs. Mesa (2-10), 12:35 pm MST, Alex Reyes (0-0, 1.17)
