Redbirds Rally Past Redhawks,8-4

Memphis, Tenn. – A leadoff walk to SS John Nelson in the bottom of the seventh inning led to a six-run rally and ultimately an 8-4 Redbirds win Friday night at AutoZone Park in front of a crowd of 8,299.

After Nelson's walk, C Mike Mahoney doubled to right field and CF Skip Schumaker singled up the middle to score the first run. 2B Bo Hart reached on a fielder's choice, and RF Pete Zoccolillo singled to right scoring Schumaker.
