Seabol Named Pacific Coast Player of the Week
"Pacific Coast League Scott Seabol, Memphis 7 G, 29 AB, 9 R, 15 H, 5 2B, 1 3B, 4 HR, 12 RBI, .517 AVG, .576 OBP, 1.172 SLG, 0 SB Seabol has a few impressive streaks going. The 6-foot-4 third baseman hit in all seven Redbirds games last week, extending his hitting streak to 15 games. He has also homered in four consecutive games and has driven in at least one run in seven straight. The nine-year Minor League veteran had five multi-hit games over the past week and more than doubled his RBI total by driving in a dozen runs. In a week full of outstanding performances, his best came on May 6 when he went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBIs. Seabol has raised his average from .130 to .327 during his 15-game hitting streak. "
