Ersatz Monday Farm Report (2-2)

Memphis lost 4-0 to Tucson. Gissell pitched seven shutout innings with 5K, 2BB and 4H. Cali gave up three runs, including a homer, to get the loss. The bats were quiet, although Luna had a couple of singles and Hart had a double and single while playing third. More details in the Autozone thread.

Springfield won 6-2. Hanson went 3-3 including his sixth homer. Minges had a double and a walk. Cook took the win with 6.2 innings, giving up 2R on 4H, no BB versus 4K. Doyne gave up a couple of hits and a couple of walks, but pitched a scoreless 1.1 inning stint.

Palm Beach lost to Clearwater 10-6. Mark Michael pitched, but pitched poorly, walking 5 and giving up 2 homers in 4.1 innings. Lundgren got hit hard as well. Dryer went 2-4 and hit his 7th homer of the year. Santor and Evans added two hits.

Quad Cities won 5-3. Ferris hit his 4th and 5th homers. Shepherd had a double and two walks. Scherer started, and pitched OK, giving up 3 runs in 6.2 innings. Ool gave up a couple of walks and a hit in 1.1 innings, but no runs to get the win. Is he really 7-0?
