JS (34): "The Cardinals seem to be pretty high on Garcia. He was not able to sign a 2005 contact because the Cardinals were not able get him a work visa. He was dominant in the Instructional League and I think we all know there is nothing like a young left-handed pitching sleeper."

LM (NR): "When I saw this name at #37 I went back to check that I was thinking of the correct Garcia.  I simply cannot see how anyone can justify placing a pitcher that was drafted this past June and did not face a single batter during the regular season on this list. I look forward to seeing him pitch in a real game and then I will form an opinion."

RM (29): "Selected in the 22nd round of the 2005 draft, there isn't much pressure or expectations on Garcia. He has a problem staying in shape and we will find out in 2006 how bad he wants to play baseball. He's a left-hander with potential and that is enough to get you ranked as high as #37 on our list. He'll be pitching at Johnson City next season."

BW (NR): "A left-handed late-signing sleeper if there ever was one. 15 strikeouts in eight shutout innings in the Instructional League and I left Garcia off my list completely? What was I thinking?"
