JS (35): "Don't really have much to say other than he posted terrific numbers for Quad Cities after being called up from extended spring training on June 1. I haven't really heard much about his stuff, so his stats are basically what got him on list."

LM (39): "Looking back on my rankings this is one I want a "do over" on.  Andersen should be ranked higher than my #39 and ranking him at #36 is a step in the right direction.  Although his season did not start until June 1, Andersen made the most of it when he began.  He was the anchor of the Swing rotation and led them in WHIP, K/BB, BAA and ERA.  He is an extreme fly-ball pitcher which concerns me but Andersen well deserved to be on this list."

RM (36): "The St. Louis Cardinals organization pitcher of the month for August last season, Andersen finished the regular season with a 2.96 ERA, which would have ranked him sixth in the Midwest League had he thrown enough innings to qualify for the leader board. Anderson closed the season with 16 straight starts without a loss, if he continues at this rate, his rise through the rankings should continue."

BW (34): "Both Andersen's home run and walks allowed ratios improved in his first season in A-ball, while he held his strikeouts constant and lowered his ERA by a run from four to three. A pitcher to keep an eye on, for sure."
