The Day in the Minors

A view of the spring routine for Cardinals minor leaguers.

While perhaps a bit monotonous by this point, their second week of camp, the daily routine followed by Cardinals minor league players is carefully choreographed, requiring significant coordination by the coaching staff. Here is a look into what happened on Tuesday, otherwise known as "Practice #15".

Tuesday is a unique day in that the Memphis and Springfield teams are at home, while the two Single-A squads hopped buses for games with their Mets counterparts at Port St. Lucie. In addition, with the major leaguers enjoying their only day off of the spring, camp is quieter than usual.
