Post of the Week – April 30 through May 6

Recognizing the very best post of the week from our message board community of thousands of Cardinals fans the world over.

With the Cardinals struggling on the road in Cincinnati and Houston, there was plenty to talk about this week among the members of the Cardinal Nation and especially on our Cardinals message board. This article again notes the best of the best - our "Post of the Week".

C2kSix offered up a thorough recap of the first month of the season for the Cardinals, their winningest April ever, in the thread called "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

A new poster, highrent, joined a thread with an interesting analysis of strikeouts and ground balls. The next response was from IlliG8tr and included both statistics and clear conclusions here: " Strikeouts: important?".

C2KSix provided a position by position analysis of the Cardinals players performance to date"Cardinals – Pujols = Bad Offense".

Frank22 started a thread called "Swing and Palm Beach" in which he provided some excellent analysis of players at two levels of A-ball. A later post from fpslackers offered a very insightful view of which players' stock is rising and falling.

fpslackers also started a thread about which players might move up or down in next year's top prospect list, called "2007 Top 40 Prospects".

In recognition for a series of strong and informative posts, I am pleased to announce that fpslackers is our weekly winner for April 30 through May 7. He also won back in November.

Thank you for your contributions to our community, fpslackers, and please keep making these fine posts. And, congratulations to all of last week's honorable mentions.

In recognition, fpslackers wins a free four-week subscription to and all the other great sites in the network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
