Post of the Week – May 14 through May 20

Recognizing the very best post of the week from our message board community of thousands of Cardinals fans the world over.

There is always a lot to talk about among the members of the Cardinal Nation and especially on our Cardinals message board this past week. This article again calls out the best of the best - our "Post of the Week".

Frank22 started a thread with several interesting entries about promising minor league prospects in the Cardinals system. "gaining traction".

The "crowd complacency?" thread has generated 26 posts so far. One of the best is from reader SkinnyPimp, who offered a point-by-point rebuttal to a post by KylMss. The two disagreed about the state of the season to-date.

Speaking of KylMss, he provided an analysis of the Cardinals status and prospects for the rest of the season at second base and in the outfield in the thread entitled "Hideki Matsui Broken Wrist".

The dialogue about the "Upcoming Draft" has fueled one of the most popular threads recently, with almost 1800 views and over 50 responses. It began in April, but was resurrected last week with a raft of new information about amateur prospects. The case of Scott Boras client Luke Hochevar stimulated solid posts by UncleBuck44 and highrent, among others.

In fact, highrent, in his first ten posts here, offered additional information on two other prime prospects in that same thread. As a result of these strong and informative posts, I am pleased to announce that highrent is our weekly winner for May 14 through May 20.

Thank you for your recent contributions to our community, highrent, and please keep making these fine posts. And, congratulations to all of last week's honorable mentions.

In recognition, highrent wins a free four-week subscription to and all the other great sites in the network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
