Post of the Week – May 21 through May 27

Recognizing the very best post of the week from our message board community of thousands of Cardinals fans the world over. The winner of this recognition receives a free four-week subscription to and all the other fine sites in the network.

The members of the Cardinal Nation have been very busy talking about their favorite team and especially that has been the case on our Cardinals message board this past week. This article again calls out the best of the best - our "Post of the Week".

C2kSix is a regular contributor on the site and receives regular mention here. This week, he started a thread laying out the facts about the Cardinals' effective second base tandem. "Luna and Miles".

The main thread about the "Upcoming Draft" has remained one of the most popular threads recently, with almost 2850 views and over 85 responses. It began in April, but has demonstrated legs, as last week brought a plethora of new information about amateur prospects. Honorable mention posts on pages four and five include contributions from last week's winner, highrent, and Frank22 (twice).

Speaking of Frank22, he started a thread looking at the Cardinals organization pipeline of prospects and assessed when key players may reach the major leagues, along with explanations of what role they may play. The thread entitled "prospect pipeline" has generated 25 replies so far.

We thought so much of this initial post that we ran it on the main Cardinals site this past week. As a result of a series of strong and informative posts, I am pleased to announce that Frank22 is our weekly winner for May 21 through May 27 and is our first four-time winner of this recognition.

Thank you for your many contributions to our community, Frank22, and please keep making these fine posts. And, congratulations to all of last week's honorable mentions.

In recognition, Frank22 wins a free four-week subscription to and all the other great sites in the network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!

Brian Walton can be reached via email at Leonda Markee also contributed.
