CARDINALS FAN-BASED BUSINESSES FORM STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
Mileur Media Group Inc. announces the formation of a strategic alliance between the St. Louis Cardinals Birdhouse at www.stlcardinals.scout.com , the #1 Cardinal Fan site on the internet, and St. Louis Game Time: The Game Day Guide to St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.
The two companies will share content to enhance their respective offerings as well as participate in cross promotions. Initial planning is underway for the new development of future joint partnership ventures.
Today, The Birdhouse is the online leader for exclusive, objective and independent electronic coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals and their entire minor league system, providing the ultimate fan experience through community interaction with a team of experts, writers and reporters.
St. Louis Game Time, founded in November 2005, is a hardcopy publication published and sold to fans of the St. Louis Cardinals before all home games. The statistics in the guide are refreshed on a daily basis while the exclusive articles and content are updated for every home series.
Starting immediately, The Game Day Guide to St. Louis Cardinal Baseball will expand from its current 16 pages format to 20 pages, to accommodate even stronger, more diverse content sourced from The Birdhouse and the latter will regularly feature St. Louis Game Time-produced material, as well.
"The association with St. Louis Game Time will give us the opportunity to make a direct connection to loyal Cardinal fans on game day," said MMG President, Ray Mileur. "Our websites, message board, weekly radio shows and association with Fox Sports make us a perfect fit with St. Louis Game Time and their St. Louis Cardinals Game Day Guide."
Sean Gallagher, the Founder, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of St. Louis Game Time said, "We are excited to start working with the Mileur Media Group. They have a great management team and we are looking forward to working on cross-promotions and content sharing." Gallagher added, "With its insider, fan-based focus, the Birdhouse is an ideal complement to our game day print publication."
Like all true fans, the opinions and views expressed in St. Louis Game Time are shaded by the contributors' own experiences, so the content you read may veer wildly from the end-of-the-world pessimistic to the world-champion-predicting optimistic.
The new joint venture with St. Louis Game Time is just one of several

The Birdhouse made its online debut in 1998 as the personal fan site of Founder and President, Ray Mileur.
In February of 2005, the Birdhouse became a part of the Scout.com network, the number one independent online sports network in the world. In the same month, the rights to Fanhome's St. Louis Cardinals message board were acquired, which is now the most popular Cardinal forum on the internet and is an integral part of the website.
In August 2005, Fox Interactive Media acquired Scout.com, and as a result, Mileur Media Group, Inc. and the Birdhouse began its coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals in association with FOXSports.com on MSN and in working closely with Fox Sports Net Midwest.
The Birdhouse's tremendous growth has been driven by unique proprietary offerings not available on any other Cardinals-themed website. The website maintains an extensive player database covering the entire Cardinals system and features the most popular Cardinal message board, daily post game coverage, interviews, prospect rankings, daily and weekly Minor League reports, Spring Training, Arizona Fall League and Draft Day coverage and much more.
As result, over 10 million readers have visited the site since 1998 and it is currently experiencing an annual growth rate of unique viewers at nearly 300%, based on data from the most recent quarter.
"What pleases me the most about our new association with St. Louis Game
Time", Mileur added, "is that this new alliance could allow us to expand our
coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals into special publications that may include,
but not be limited to, a monthly Cardinal magazine, a Florida Spring Training
Guidebook, St. Louis Cardinals Top 40/100 Prospect publications and an annual
Opening Day Game Day Special Edition."
"Given the alignment of our visions, and overall strategies, the combination of our two companies will make it possible for each of us to expand and improve our coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals and to better serve the baseball fans of Cardinal Nation."
