St. Louis Cardinals Director of Player Development Bruce Manno discusses some of the top position players now participating in the St. Louis Cardinals 2006 Florida Winter Instructional League camp running through October 5th in Jupiter, Florida. Part Four of this series will focus on pitchers.

Coming to you directly from the organization's Winter Instructional League camp in Jupiter, Florida, St. Louis Cardinals Director of Player Development Bruce Manno shares his thoughts on a number of the position players participating as well as what they and the other prospects are doing to become better hitters, fielders and baserunners.

We discuss such players as infielders Tyler Greene, Thomas Pham and newcomer Will Groff as well as outfielders Jon Edwards and Daryl Jones.

Bruce Manno joined the Cardinals organization at the end of the 2001 season and assumed his current role of Director of Player Development at that time. Previously, he was Assistant to the General Manager for the Baltimore Orioles and before that, Manno spent fifteen years building the Milwaukee Brewers farm system into one of the most recognized in all of baseball.
