St. Louis Cardinals Director of Player Development Bruce Manno discusses some of the top pitchers now participating in the St. Louis Cardinals 2006 Florida Winter Instructional League camp running through October 5th in Jupiter, Florida.

From the St. Louis Cardinals organization's Winter Instructional League camp in Jupiter, Florida, Director of Player Development Bruce Manno shares his thoughts on a number of the pitchers participating as well as several who didn't come and why.

We discuss right-handed pitchers Blake King, Mark McCormick, Chris Perez and Nick Webber as well as lefties Brad Furnish and Tyler Norrick.


Bruce Manno joined the Cardinals organization at the end of the 2001 season and assumed his current role of Director of Player Development at that time. Previously, he was Assistant to the General Manager for the Baltimore Orioles and before that, Manno spent fifteen years building the Milwaukee Brewers farm system into one of the most recognized in all of baseball.
