Cards World Series Tickets on Sale October 19

… but online registration is required and starts Tuesday, October 10. So, don't wait!

The St. Louis Cardinals have received approval from Major League Baseball to begin selling tickets for potential 2006 World Series games at Busch Stadium.  Tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 19. 


As part of the Cardinals' continuing effort to make postseason tickets available to as many people as possible, the team will once again offer an online registration program.  Fans must pre-register at by 5 p.m. CT on Monday, October 16 for a random drawing to have the opportunity to purchase tickets online.   Tickets will not be available at Busch Stadium, over the phones or at any ticket outlet.


The online registration will work as follows:

Tuesday, October 10, 10 a.m. through Mon., Oct. 16, 5 p.m. 

·          Cardinals' fans may log on to and register for a chance to purchase postseason tickets.

Wednesday, October 18 

·          Winners will be notified by e-mail.  The e-mail will provide winners with instructions on how to purchase tickets on Thursday, October 19.

Thursday, October 19, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

·          Winners will have the opportunity to purchase up to two (2) tickets for one (1) game of the three (3) possible games at Busch Stadium.  Seat locations will be sold on a first-come basis.


With prices ranging from $50 to $250 each, postseason tickets will be available in most seating areas throughout Busch Stadium.
