FSN Midwest is teaming with Major League Baseball Productions and A&E Home Video to replay classic Cardinals games. This is one of six games included in the DVD set Greatest Games of Busch Stadium, which is available for purchase. Monday's replay will be shown in FSN Midwest's Cardinals viewing territory.
Interesting facts about the telecast:
· Curt Gowdy (play-by-play) and Harry Caray (analyst) called the action on NBC.
· The crowd at Busch Stadium for Game 1 was 54,692, at the time the largest ever to attend a sporting event in St. Louis .
· Gibson finished the regular season 22-9 with a 1.12 ERA, while McLain was 31-6 with a 1.96 ERA.
· Tim McCarver (catcher) hit fifth and Mike Shannon (third baseman) sixth in the Cardinals lineup. Both are broadcasting this year's World Series.

FSN MIDWEST CARDINALS COVERAGE CONTINUES THROUGH WORLD SERIES
This classic Cardinals-Tigers game is just part of FSN Midwest's coverage of the 2006 World Series. The regional sports network, which televised 110 Cardinals games this season, will broadcast Cardinals Live post-game shows following every World Series game and pre-game shows before Games 2-6. In addition, Cardinals Live will air at 6:30 and 10:00 PM on off days during the Series.
