Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A): Winners 10-5 over Royals
A four run first inning give the momentum to the Memphis Redbirds Sunday as they went on to defeat the Omaha Royals for the second day in a row.
First baseman Tagg Bozied extended his hitting streak to seven games with a pair of hits, to include his third home run of the season and added three RBI on the day.
Mike Smith pitched six innings to pick up his second win of the season for Memphis. Smith allowed just two runs on four hits, striking out six batters to keep the Royals in check.

Springfield Cardinals (Double-A): Cards Hand Drillers Another Loss
Joe Mather added two more home runs to his stats on Sunday to help lead his team to a 4-2 win over the Tulsa Drillers in Tulsa. Mather's seven home runs currently lead the Texas League.
Starter Jaime Garcia pitched six very strong innings, giving up just one run on two hits, but did not factor into the decision. Hugo Castellanos picked up his first win of the season, after blowing a save opportunity, despite pitching only one inning and allowing a run on two hits and two walks.
St. Louis Cardinals' outfielder Juan Encarnacion will join the Springfield Cardinals on Monday night, in what is expected to be the beginning of an eight-game rehab assignment in Springfield. Encarnacion, who had surgery on his left wrist in December, is expected to be in the lineup as the designated hitter on Monday night against Wichita.

Palm Beach Cardinals (High-A): No FSL Games Scheduled
The Palm Cardinals had the day off on Sunday. With a record of 9-6 they sit on top of the FSL Eastern Division standings with the dreaded St. Lucie Mets just one game back.

Swing of Quad Cities (A): Swing 10-1 Winners over the Wizards
The Swing of Quad Cities joined in the slugfest Sunday as they defeated the Fort Wayne Wizards by a score of 10-1 to even up the series at one game a piece.
1B Brandon Buckman went 1-for-5 on the day but made his one hit count with a three-run homer in the sixth inning, his league leading fifth home run of the season.
Matthew Lane the third pitcher of the day picked up his second win of the season and Michael Schellinger earned his first save on the year.
