Earlier, six players - pitchers Armando Carrasco (Quad Cities), Eric Haberer (Springfield) and Kyle McClellan (Palm Beach), outfielder Ian Church (Palm Beach), catcher Christian Reyes (Quad Cities) and second baseman Jaime Landin (Quad Cities) left camp to join their full-season clubs.

Since our last report, at least five other players have followed. They include three pitchers - Fernando Salas and Matt Trent (Palm Beach), plus Eddie Degerman (Quad Cities) – along with catcher Henry Guerrero (Springfield) and outfielder Cody Haerther (Springfield).

With 2 1/2 weeks remaining in EST, other rehabbing players are expected to join full-season teams when they are ready and clubs have openings to receive them.

The eight-week schedule runs through June 2. Regular opponents are the Extended Spring Training clubs from the Nationals, Dodgers, Mets and Marlins. While the Cardinals have a 9-20 record so far, this camp is about individual player development. Click on this link to see the 2007 Cardinals Extended Spring Training schedule.
