Post of the Week – May 13 through May 19

Recognizing the very best post of the week from our message board community of thousands of St. Louis Cardinals fans the world over.

As we do each and every week here at stlcardinals.scout.com, we call out the best of the best - the "Post of the Week" from our Scout.com Cardinals message board, this time for the week ending Saturday, May 19.

Here is the link to the Message Boards, of which there are several – for fantasy players, insider information for subscribers, general topics, non-Cardinals sports and more.

"TLR is not a leader" was a very popular thread this past week, with at least two top posts from recent Post of the Week winners - "photonblaster1234 and "C2KSeven" among them. Photon considered ways to evaluate La Russa's career record while C2K identified other areas the 2007 Cardinals could improve.

A question on many people's minds is "What's Up With Adam Wainwright?". As the thread meandered on its way, the focus included Anthony Reyes, about whom "KylMss" offered some detailed, practical suggestions on what can be done to get the pitcher on track.

"tenniseleven" made a nice addition to a thread also called out last week "Why Rasmus, Perez, Marti, and Stavinoha won't see STL in 07". On page two, tennis identifies a number of former top prospects who prospered in the Majors.

Finally, it is worth offering a special thanks to "waltdub" for starting the thread "BA's first mock draft", which is one of the best threads that we have had going in awhile. This week's winner participated in that thread. "Bokonon2" raised some very thought-provoking questions about how a club might prioritize the different factors in their draft strategy.

"Bokonon2" collects a free four-week subscription to stlcardinals.scout.com and all the other great sites in the Scout.com network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
