Cards Post of the Week – Aug. 26 thru Sept. 1

Recognizing the very best post of the past week from our message board community of thousands of St. Louis Cardinals fans the world over.

As we do each and every week here at stlcardinals.scout.com, we call out the best of the best - the "Post of the Week" from our Scout.com Cardinals message board, this time for the week ending Saturday, September 1.

Here is the link to the Message Boards, of which there are several – for fantasy players, insider information for subscribers, general topics, non-Cardinals sports and more.

"6 Man Platoon" was thread that ran three pages long. The original focus was the depth in the outfield enabling a right and left-handed hitting set of starters. On page two about 1/3 of the way down, "AustinCardinal" forecasts what he believes should be done with each of the outfielders next season.

"PadsFS", began a new thread called "Adam Wainwright vs. contemporaries", where the Cards' top starter's rankings are compared with the best the National League has to offer.

"Power in the Cardinal System" was a thread that ran three pages long. As many do, the discussion shifted as the posts increased. In this case, it moved from hitting to pitching. At the top of the final page, "highrent" looked at young pitching (and a bit of hitting) that is coming through the organizational player pipeline.

As a result, "highrent" is our weekly winner of the "Post of the Week". "highrent" collects a free four-week subscription to stlcardinals.scout.com and all the other great sites in the Scout.com network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
