Amaury Marti (Springfield) 3-for-4 with 1 two-run home run, 4 RBIs (2 with 2 outs), 2 runs, 1 walk.

 

Kyle McClellan (Springfield) pitched 1 inning of relief, with 2 strikeouts. (pitches-strikes: 13-9) (ground outs-fly outs: 0-1)

Richard Castillo (VSL) started and pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits, 3 runs (all earned), 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Castillo took his 1st loss in winter league play. (g/o-f/o: 8-4)
